What Happened?
On July 3rd, 2020, Patrece was stopped in traffic at a red light on Tuckahoe Road heading towards Ridge Hill Boulevard when another vehicle rear-ended Patrece when the light turned green. The other driver claimed to not have seen Patrece stopped in front of him which is why he crashed into the rear of her car. Patrece complained of neck pain immediately after the collision and was examined at the scene of the accident. She thought the pain would go away after a few days since she didn’t think she was that hurt, but she ended up going to urgent care when the pain worsened.
As a result of the accident, Patrece suffered injuries to her neck, lower back, right shoulder, and right wrist. She felt numbness and tingling along her right hands and fingers. For some time after the accident, she continued having right-sided neck pain that extended into her right shoulder and down her right upper extremity with numbness, tingling, and weakness. When conservative treatment failed to improve her pain, she underwent pain management injections to her right shoulder and underwent surgery on her right shoulder (partial thickness rotator cuff tear) and right wrist. Patrece was unable to work for several months.
Patrece’s mother was working in a hospital and heard all about Adam Handler from a nurse that worked at the same hospital too. Her mother told Patrece to call The Case Handler and, thankfully, she made the call! With the help of our skilled Yonkers car accident lawyers at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP, we made sure that all of Patrece’s medical bills were paid and we recovered the maximum policy limits of $100,000.00!
