"The team did a fantastic job, and their communication was excellent throughout the entire process. They kept me informed every step of the way. This was my first experience dealing with something like this, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with how everything turned out."
- Gwendolyn from Lakewood, NJ
What Happened?
On June 9, 2023, Gwendolyn was exiting the ramp from NJ Route 18 South, slowly merging onto NJ Route 138 Westbound. Due to traffic, the car in front of her stopped at the yield sign, so Gwendolyn came to a complete stop as well. That’s when she was suddenly struck from behind by another vehicle. Although the police report noted no injuries at the scene, Gwendolyn was in shock and didn’t immediately realize the extent of her injuries. Not long after, she began experiencing excruciating pain that only continued to worsen. Gwendolyn went to the emergency department, where she was evaluated, treated, and sent home with medication.
As a result of the accident, Gwendolyn suffered injuries to her neck, back, and right wrist. She didn’t see the impact coming, so she couldn’t brace herself. The force of the collision jerked her body forward and backward violently while her right hand was gripping the steering wheel. The pain and swelling in her wrist caused a significant loss in range of motion, and walking became difficult as it aggravated her back pain. After nearly a year of minimally invasive pain management treatment, her condition improved – and she was fortunately able to avoid surgery.
