What Happened?
On September 28th, 2020, Michelle had just walked out of a clothing store in the Upper East Side, when an employee for a grocery delivery service ran into Michelle’s left leg from behind with a large, metal delivery shopping cart. Michelle quickly used her hands to cover her face when she fell down to the ground. While laying on the ground, the delivery person did not notice that she fell and continued to roll the cart forward over her! The cart had reached the middle of her calf when the employee finally realized what had happened when onlookers alerted him and he apologized. Michelle was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where she underwent an x-ray, received a tetanus shot, and was released home.
As a result of the accident, Michelle received contusions and cuts on her hands when she hit the ground. She also suffered a large, deep gash in the back of her left leg that is approximately 3 inches in length and about a half-inch in width. According to the doctor, Michelle will possess this scar on her left leg for the rest of her life. Furthermore, Michelle developed back pain that made walking, working, and regular daily activities extremely painful and difficult to complete. She underwent numerous physical therapy sessions but thankfully had no surgeries or injections.
Years ago, Michelle’s husband had an accident and he worked with Adam to handle his case. Although Michelle wasn’t even sure she had a case, she knew she needed to call The Case Handler to find out. “I appreciate how Adam handled everything. He never gives up and never takes no for an answer. Plus, he has a great team behind him,” said Michelle. With the help of our experienced Upper East Side negligent accident lawyer at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP, we took care of Michelle’s medical bills and helped her recover $37,500.00!
