What Happened?
On January 11, 2017, Anthony was stopped at a red light on Route 9W in Rockland County when he was rear-ended by another vehicle. His car was pushed into the car in front of him, which turned the incident into a 3-car collision. Anthony’s vehicle had to be towed from the scene. He was taken by ambulance to Nyack Hospital due to severe neck pain.
Anthony suffered injuries to the neck, upper back, and lower back as a result of the accident. He experienced numbness, sharp pain, and tenderness in his neck. Lifting objects, sleeping, and daily activities exacerbated his back pain. Turning or bending his head worsened Anthony’s neck pain. His symptoms were relieved temporarily by chiropractic care, heat, and stretching. Anthony was not able to work for about three months and was confined to his bed for several weeks.
Anthony called Adam Handler to tell him about the accident and he knew after speaking with him that The Case Handler team was the right team for him. Initially, the insurance company made a low offer to Anthony. With legal assistance by The Case Handler team at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP, Anthony was awarded nearly 5 times more than the insurance company’s initial offer!
