What Happened?
On December 27, 2016, Allison was driving southbound on 230th Place in Queens, New York. Before driving through the intersection of 141 Avenue, Allison stopped at the stop sign and then proceeded to drive through the intersection when it was her turn. Right before Allison finished driving to the other side, a vehicle traveling eastbound on 141 Avenue failed to make a complete stop at the stop sign and t-boned Allison on the passenger’s side. The other driver claimed that Allison’s vehicle “came out of nowhere” and caused the collision to the police! Allison was transferred by ambulance to Jamaica Medical Center, where she was examined, treated and released home.
As a result of the accident, Allison had pain in the neck, back, right shoulder and left knee. She was required to use a neck brace, back brace and cane to help with mobility after the accident. Allison attended physical therapy and acupuncture treatments to help relieve the pain, and she later received injections in her right shoulder and left knee area as well. After less invasive procedures did not improve her pain, Allison underwent surgery on her right shoulder and left knee.
As a loyal fan of Adam’s radio show, she knew to call The Case Handler attorneys at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco for help! Despite the fact that the other driver was blaming Allison for the collision (and there were no witnesses), The Case Handler team proved that the other driver was 100% liable for the accident! While no two cases are alike, our team efficiently handled Allison’s medical bills, loss wages, and recovered the maximum policy limits of $100,000.00 from the insurance company in 9 months!
