What Happened?
On May 24, 2023, Jesse was driving home from work, heading eastbound on Farmers Boulevard in Queens, NY. When the light turned green, she proceeded through the Rockaway Boulevard intersection when another vehicle, driving southbound, ran the red light and collided with the front of Jesse’s car, deploying her airbags. Jesse was taken by ambulance to the emergency room, where she was examined, treated, and released.
Following the accident, Jesse suffered injuries to her neck and lower back. She experienced neck pain that radiated to her right posterior arm with severe intensity, which worsened when she turned her head. Her lower back pain was aggravated by bending or lifting.
