“I was recently involved in an auto accident and my daughter contacted Adam on my behalf. He handled my case very professionally and to my satisfaction. Adam was always a quick phone call or text message away if I had any questions about the case. I couldn’t have asked for a better legal team. Excellent service!!!”

What Happened?
On November 21, 2023, Alice was on her lunch break from work when she stepped off the curb to cross the street in a parking lot. Suddenly, a vehicle reversed abruptly and struck Alice! The driver of the vehicle claimed that he was backing into a parking spot and told the police that Alice “jumped out onto the roadway and collided into his vehicle,” alleging that she was at fault. Following the incident, Alice was promptly transported by ambulance to Jamaica Hospital for evaluation and treatment. She remained admitted to the hospital for three days before being discharged with prescribed medication.
The accident resulted in severe injuries to Alice’s right leg. She suffered a displaced open right tibia (shinbone) fracture and a closed right fibula (calf bone) shaft fracture that required immediate surgical intervention under general anesthesia. The wound closure measured approximately 8 centimeters in length. Alice experienced difficulty standing and walking for prolonged periods, navigating stairs, and performing routine daily tasks due to pain, stiffness, and weakness. She engaged in pain management therapy and a home exercise program. For approximately six months, Alice has been fully disabled from her occupation.
With her daughter’s assistance, Alice reached out to The Case Handler team right away, and we scheduled a meeting with her the very next day after the accident. Despite the driver’s assertion that Alice was the reckless party who “jumped” behind the vehicle, our Queens parking lot pedestrian accident lawyer crushed his argument just like he crushed Alice’s leg! In a remarkable turnaround time, attorney Adam Handler successfully negotiated the maximum policy limits from the Defendant’s insurance company within 9 DAYS!
