What Happened?
On May 12, 2017, Terri was a passenger in a vehicle that was driven by her cousin. Terri and her cousin were on their way to give a Mother’s Day gift to her cousin’s mother. As they approached the intersection of South 11th Avenue and West 3rd Street, a car ran a red light and struck the vehicle Terri was in. Terri reported striking the right side of her body when the accident occurred. She was rushed by ambulance to Montefiore Hospital where she underwent x-rays of her neck and right shoulder.
As a result of the accident, Terri stated she had neck pain, back pain, right shoulder pain, right elbow pain and right wrist pain. She reported numbness and tingling radiating down her right arm. Her MRI revealed that she had multiple bulging discs in her middle and lower back. The MRI also showed a right shoulder tear and tendinitis in Terri’s arm. She was in constant pain that limited her ability to bend, lift, carry and perform other household chores. Terri participated in physical therapy five times a week for two weeks and three times a week for another two weeks.
Fortunately for Terri, her aunt heard about Adam and saved his number in the case of an emergency. Initially, Terri wasn’t sure which lawyer she should hire but still decided to call her aunt’s recommendation. Once she spoke with Adam, she knew he was the one! She was impressed by the genuine care that The Case Handler team displayed for her. Adam did the heavy lifting with her case so she could focus on resting and healing. In the end, Terri was awarded the settlement check she deserved for all her pain and suffering.
