What Happened?
On April 27, 2017, Noel was driving on the Cross Bronx Expressway when a tractor trailer came into his lane. Noel swerved into the left lane to avoid getting struck by the tractor trailer and collided with another vehicle! Noel lost control of his vehicle after the first collision and struck a second vehicle. He was trapped between the median divider and the two vehicles. As a result, Noel had to be cut out of his vehicle by the jaws of life rescue tool. He was then taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was evaluated, treated, and discharged home.
Noel suffered injuries to his neck, shoulders, lower back and knees. As a result of the accident, he had difficulty with twisting and turning his neck, bending forward; sitting, standing, or walking for prolonged periods of time, reaching overhead, lifting heavy objects with his arms and going up-and-down the stairs. He experienced clicking in his left knee and a burning sensation in his lower back. He also complained of neck pain radiating to his shoulders and headaches. These injuries prevented Noel from working for several months after the accident and he was required to attend physical therapy. When minimally invasive and conservative procedures failed to improve his back, Noel underwent spine surgery.
Luckily, Noel heard Adam on the radio and saved his number…just in case of an emergency. After his accident, he contacted The Case Handler team. Our team immediately went to work on the case. You can imagine Noel’s stress level trying to manage his injuries while dealing with his case, combined with not being able to work! To his aide, The Case Handler team made the legal process as simple as possible for Noel so he could focus on recovery. In the end, our team successfully helped Noel recover his lost wages, recover the maximum contribution from the Defendant/truck, and recover the maximum policy limits from Noel’s insurance company!
