“This is the second accident Adam has helped me with. There is no one else I trust more than The Case Handler team. Everyone there is wonderful, professional, and a delight to work with. I appreciate everything they did for me. Thank you so much!”
- Eric from Hempstead, NY
What Happened?
On April 11, 2023, Eric was driving northbound in the left lane on Merrick Boulevard approaching Anderson Road when a vehicle in the bus lane (right lane) made a sudden u-turn, colliding with Eric’s vehicle in a t-bone collision. The impact caused Eric to hit his head. Following the incident, Eric was transported by ambulance to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for evaluation, treatment, and subsequently discharged early the next day.
As a result of the auto accident, Eric sustained severe injuries to his neck, back, and shoulders. The neck pain led to weakness in both arms, upper back pain hindered his mobility, lower back pain impeded bending, and shoulder pain intensified with various activities. Although both shoulders were affected, his right shoulder bore the brunt of the injury. Despite several months of physical therapy, Eric’s right shoulder failed to respond to minimally invasive pain management, leading to right shoulder surgery under anesthesia on December 4, 2023.
Notably, Eric had previously turned to The Case Handler team following a 2021 accident involving an ambulance. Despite this history of similar injuries, our Queens U-turn accident lawyer, Adam Handler, successfully negotiated the maximum policy limits from the Defendant’s insurance company. Moreover, we secured a second settlement check for the same amount, ensuring Eric received just compensation for his ordeal. Within a year of the accident, Eric obtained two settlement checks, a testament to the dedicated advocacy of The Case Handler team!
