“I am so pleased with the services I received. I knew my case was in good hands and it was! I never doubted them. He did it for me, he can do it for you!”
- Daphne from Woodmere, NY
What Happened?
On September 19th, 2019, Daphne was on the eastbound lanes of Southern State Parkway when her vehicle unexpectedly stalled. She promptly decelerated and came to a halt. As she maneuvered to pull over onto the shoulder, several passing cars narrowly avoided colliding with her. Unfortunately, one vehicle failed to slow down in time, resulting in a forceful rear-end collision that propelled Daphne’s car forward, causing her to hit her head. The next day, she sought medical attention at Nassau University Medical Center, where she was evaluated, treated, and discharged home.
The auto accident resulted in injuries to Daphne’s neck, shoulder, arms, lower back, and right ankle. In the days following, she grappled with persistent neck and shoulder pain accompanied by numbness, tingling, and weakness in her arms that made it difficult to lift her arms. Additionally, lower back pain hindered her from bending down, while right ankle pain made it difficult to walk and stand. These injuries rendered Daphne incapable of working for 4 months. She diligently attended physical therapy sessions and ultimately had to undergo right ankle surgery, performed under general anesthesia.
Upon her brother’s recommendation, Daphne reached out to The Case Handler team to see if we could help! “From the moment I called, I knew my case was in good hands,” said Daphne. Despite the intricate nature of her personal injury case and the inevitable slowdowns due to the pandemic, our distinguished Hempstead stalled car accident lawyer not only helped Daphne pay all of her medical bills but also recover a $150,000.00 settlement from the Defendant’s insurance company!
