What Happened?
On September 23, 2016, Marie was a front-seat passenger waiting at a steady red light near the intersection of North Avenue and Lincoln Avenue in New Rochelle, New York. The car behind her was rear-ended and then pushed into the car Marie was in. She didn’t feel pain at first after the accident, but later began to feel “needles” going through her back. Marie suffered an injury to her cervical and thoracic spine. She also complained of neck pain (moving her neck sideways was very painful), right hip pain, and spasms around her shoulder blade.
As a result of her injuries, Marie had to do physical therapy for over a year. To manage the pain, she attended physical therapy 5 times a week and underwent one injection on her back. The doctor advised Marie to avoid any strenuous activities that would aggravate her injuries. Marie had to return to her job a few days after the accident and experienced worsening pain after sitting in front of a computer for the entire day at work.
The Case Handler team fought hard to obtain the compensation that Marie deserved. With the aide of our reputable New York car accident injury team, Marie was awarded $10,000.00!
