What Happened?
On April 25th, 2017, Dylan was working as a construction worker and entered a shaft in Queens, NY. He was cleaning a vent about 8 feet above the ground when he fell off the ladder and landed on his knees. He immediately felt his left elbow swelling and in pain. Thankfully, Dylan did not lose consciousness and was taken to urgent care where he was treated and released.
As a result of the accident, Dylan injured his left shoulder, left arm, left elbow (fractured), right wrist (fractured) and right knee (fractured). He felt tingling and numbness in both hands with pain in his left arm down to his hand. Dylan had surgery to repair his left elbow in May 2017, and right knee in May 2018. He attended physical therapy for several months and continued having difficulty with sleeping, getting dressed, driving and prolonged sitting. His injuries made it impossible for him to go back to work.
Not only is Dylan a loyal listener to Adam Handler’s radio show on 93.5 FM WVIP, but his own friends were telling him to call The Case Handler team too after his accident! That was more than enough to convince him to call our personal injury team at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco. With the legal guidance of our Queens construction ladder fall accident lawyers, all of Dylans’s medical expenses were taken care of and we successfully recovered a $925,000.00 settlement!
