What Happened?
On July 29, 2016, Princess was walking away from the pharmacy that was located inside of Queens Hospital Center in New York City. While approaching the elevator, she suddenly slipped and fell on a small puddle of water on the ground! Since there were no warning signs around the area, Princess had no idea that the floor was slippery so that she could take extra precautions while walking. The hospital staff came to her aid and took Princess to the emergency room right away.
As a result of the accident, Princess injured her left elbow, lower back (lumbar spine), and re-injured her left knee (which required surgery 5 years prior to this accident). After falling on her left knee this time, she suffered a left knee meniscus tear (longitudinal tear of body and posterior horn of the medial meniscus) that required knee replacement surgery on February 22, 2017. Princess also had lower back disc herniations that required pain management injections and is a candidate for surgical intervention of the lumbar spine.
Thanks to the recommendation of another law firm, Princess contacted Adam Handler – The Case Handler! While many attorneys may not want to take a case that involves a previous accident with a similar injury (left knee injury), our team at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP have the resources and unmatched skill to manage complex personal injury cases for clients that may have past injuries. With the help of our top Queens slip and fall lawyers, we helped Princess recover $750,000.00!
