What Happened?
On June 18th, 2021, Paul was driving southbound on Bronx River Parkway in the right lane going about 40 mph in moderate traffic. As he was approaching the Pelham Parkway exit, he was suddenly rear-ended by another vehicle! On impact, Paul hit the left side of his head on the door of his vehicle and his body was pushed forward and backward. The collision also pushed Paul’s vehicle forward, but thankfully he was able to avoid hitting the car in front of him. Paul was taken to Jacobi Hospital where he was evaluated, treated, and released home.
Paul injured his neck, back, right shoulder, and right knee due to this accident. About a week after the collision, he continued having difficulty sitting, standing, and bending. He also had difficulty raising the right shoulder above shoulder level and noticed pain in the right knee with difficulty bending the knee and standing. When weeks of conservative pain management and treatment failed, Paul underwent pain management injections and back surgery (Lumbar Discectomy at level L4, L5, S1) on October 21, 2021.
For years, Paul listened to 93.5 FM radio and heard Adam Handler’s radio show. Less than a week later he contacted us for legal help!
